On Thursday 16th August, 11.00 am, the Science and Media Museum in Bradford is showing the film Pope Francis – A Man of his Word – which documents the Pope’s ideas and his messages. The film focuses on his concern for the poor and wealth inequality, and also on his involvement in environmental issues and social justice. Rating: PG

Picnic & short walk

We will have a parish picnic and short walk on Sunday 2 September after a ‘Back to School’ 11.00 Mass. Bring your own picnic to eat in the newly decorated hall or in the garden. Family walk at 1.00 (around 1 hour) followed by tea & cakes in the hall. Everyone is welcome, especially those starting a new school, college or university. Meet your new schoolmates and have fun.
